  • Account Termination & Suspension: Career Institute reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at its discretion for violation of these Terms, misuse of resources, or breach of academic integrity policies. Unauthorized usage, including repeated failed login attempts, accessing others' accounts, or attempting to circumvent security measures, may result in immediate suspension without prior notice.
  • Age & Capacity: By creating an account, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into contracts and are at least 18 years of age or have obtained parental/guardian consent if under 18.

Career Institute may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government request.
  • Data Retention: Data retention periods comply with institutional record-keeping requirements and applicable legal obligations. Students may request information regarding data retention periods by contacting Career Institute administration.

5. Profile System & Content Standards

This includes but is not limited to: hate speech, harassment, sexually explicit content, commercial promotion, or content violating intellectual property rights.
  • Profile Modification: Users may update their profile information through designated settings. Faculty and administrative profiles may require administrative approval before changes take effect.

6. Data Security & Encryption

  • Security Infrastructure: Career Institute implements industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission, password hashing for credential storage, and access control systems to protect data from unauthorized access.
  • Access Controls: Platform access is restricted to authorized users based on role-based access control (RBAC). Students can access only their own records unless explicitly shared by faculty. Faculty can access student records relevant to their courses. Administrators have comprehensive access for system management.
  • Encryption Standards: Sensitive data including passwords, grades, and personal records are encrypted using industry-standard cryptographic protocols. Data transmission between user devices and platform servers utilizes TLS 1.2 or higher encryption.

  • Academic Records Retention: Academic records including grades, transcripts, and enrollment information will be retained indefinitely for institutional, accreditation, and legal compliance purposes, regardless of account termination. This retention does not require continued platform access.

Non-essential personal data may be anonymized or securely deleted after a retention period specified by institutional policy.
  • Access Revocation: Upon account termination or expiration, all platform access is immediately revoked. All platform content, system design, user interface, code, algorithms, database structures, branding elements, and documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of Career Institute and are protected under copyright, trademark, and patent laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, modification, distribution, or adaptation is strictly prohibited. Students and faculty retain ownership of original work they submit (such as assignments and original research), but grant Career Institute a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, and manage such submissions for educational, record-keeping, and institutional purposes. Course materials and educational content developed by Career Institute remain Career Institute's exclusive property. Faculty-developed materials remain the faculty member's property unless explicitly transferred to Career Institute under employment or contractual agreements.

10. Third-Party Services & Integrations

Career Institute's platform may integrate or utilize third-party services and infrastructure providers for hosting, data storage, analytics, security services, email delivery, and other operational functions. These third-party providers operate under confidentiality and data processing agreements that restrict their use of institutional data strictly for the purposes of supporting platform operations. Career Institute does not endorse or assume responsibility for third-party services, and users' interactions with third-party platforms are governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Career Institute exercises reasonable due diligence in selecting and monitoring third-party providers but is not liable for their actions, failures, or security breaches. A current list of key third-party service providers is available upon request to the administrative team.

11. Payments, Fees & Payment Disclaimer

Payment Processing & Channels: No online payment system is currently integrated into the careerinstitute.co.in platform. All course fees, tuition, and enrollment payments must be processed through official Career Institute payment channels, including in-person payments, bank transfers to authorized institutional accounts, or other payment methods explicitly authorized by Career Institute administration. Career Institute is not responsible for and does not process, authorize, or endorse transactions conducted outside official institutional channels. Students who make payments to unauthorized individuals, unofficial accounts, or third-party payment services do so entirely at their own risk. Career Institute assumes no liability for fraudulent transactions, unauthorized charges, or financial losses resulting from payments made outside official channels. For questions regarding proper payment procedures or to verify authorized payment methods, contact Career Institute administration directly at the phone number or email provided in Section 14.
